The Joyful Doula – Package and Pricing

Our Doula Service Package is designed to keep our clients and their baby(s) well cared for through Pregnancy, Labor, Delivery and Postpartum. 

The Lux Birth Doula Package Includes:

  1. Childbirth Education Course – A Complete, Deep Dive, Online Childbirth Education course, this is a multi-module, complete Childbirth Education Course that you can watch from the comfort of your home and when it is convenient for you.  Our clients get free access!   2. Professional In-Person Labor Birth Doula Services with no time limit at your place of birth, hospital or home – Including all available comfort measures (see the Birth Doula page for the full list). A Posptartum Essentials Bag including a gift, sitz baths, epsum salt, a padcicle kit, electrolytes, honey sticks, a plastic birth comb, and much much more! 
  3. 2 Hours of Postpartum Care at your residence;  (2) pre-made meal drop offs (for thse who want to limit people in their home during that time), or light cleaning, childcare or sitting and talking through and helping you porcess your birth (many women choose this option) or at a coffee shop (if you just want to talk through the birth and process it) within the first 4 weeks from the birth. This helps make the adjustment to parenthood more supported and gives Mom an extra layer of comfort while she recovers.  ** Additional hours can be purchased as needed. **
  4. Lactation Support – 1 hour (if needed) this can be included in the 4 hours of postpartum doula care if you need this care option.
  5. Pictures and Video Documenting Labor and First Moments – Optional Add On: I try to take pictures of my clients as they labor and just after delivery as a new family. I do not take pictures if there are life saving measures being taken or if you request no pictures. All Pictures and Video are sent to you within a day of your birth, we do not edit or enhance pictures. We then delete then media from our files. If there is a life saving emergency, I make room for and / or help the medical professionals as they work to save lives. I do not take pictures during those events.

The Basic Birth Doula Package Includes:

  1. Professional In-Person Labor Birth Doula Services with no time limit at your place of birth, hospital or home – Including all available comfort measures (see the Birth Doula page for the full list). A Posptartum Binder with lots of helpful forms to keep you organized as you prepare for labor, birth and postpartum. 
  2. 1 Hour of Postpartum Care at your residence; (1) pre-made meal drop off (for those wanting to limit people in thier home at that time), or light cleaning, childcare or sitting and talking through and helping you porcess your birth (many women choose this option) or at a coffee shop (if you just want to talk through the birth and process it) within the first 4 weeks from the birth.   3. Lactation Support – 30 minutes  (if needed) this can be included in the 1 hour of postpartum doula care if you need this care option.
